Just thinking of a candida skin rash can make you feel itchy all over. Common rashes alter the feel and look of your skin, some rashes appear on small areas and others cover the entire body.

There are different causes of skin rashes and many different types of skin rashes. A person could have a bacterial rash, viral rash, sweat rash, stress rash, fungus rash, or a sun poisoning rash. If a person suffers from food allergies, they can experience a number skin disorders including: Rashes, eczema, or hives.

Seeing pictures of skin rashes might give a basic rash diagnosis, however, it is important to get a medical skin rash diagnosis because many rash types can look similar.

Common Types Of Rashes: The most common rashes are Atopic dermatitis which is a type of eczema rash. This type of rash usually starts out in childhood. The symptoms of Atopic dermatitis are scaly skin and dry patches on the legs, arms, and chest.

Another very common type of skin rash is contact dermatitis. Simply put, your skin reacts when it comes into contact with an allergy or irritant. Poison ivy rash is a good typical example.

He was 10 and I knew he was looking for more than a summer of day care and TV shows. So i wondered if Wisconsin Summer Camps was the right answer.

My son, currently 15, has attended Swift Nature Camp for four years and we are going to send him back for as long as we can. He loves it. He has ADHD and is very smart, but has trouble at school with attention-seeking ploys.

Swift Nature Camp took their time with the children’s, the staff had a hands-on approach to leadership, social skills development and confidence-building seems to really work

Along with enthusiastic counselors, Jeff and Lonnie, provide an great atmosphere encouraging positive traits to rise to the surface. My son has developed greater peer understanding and empathy, greater self-confidence and trust, better leadership skills, an understanding of group dynamics and fair process and many other valuable lifelong skills.

Obviously, I was very nervous about sending him to a place I had never been before. The outcomes were well worth the risk. After talking to Jeff (the Directors) I decided the Discovery Camp was best . A special program for the 1st Time Camper.

The Directors willingness to discuss any question I had and their understanding of my fears made the decision easy. My son rode the bus to camp, I got to see first-hand all of the wonderful places he got to explore when I picked him up at the end, so .

His excitement for Swift was limitless. I’m not sure if he took a breath between stories on the whole ride home!

The website of Swift Nature Camp says everything need. To me, I love how the camp is set up. Each cabins houses the same gender and age. They do activities together, including laundry and cabin clean up.

Almost every afternoon the campers can choose a variety of typical camp activities (arts … crafts, archery, swimming, horses and much more). My kid loved going to the Nature Center and learning more about animals.

On top of this, the camp is dedicated to environmental awareness and nature preservation. They have a Nature Center well equipped with microscopes and frogs and tadpoles and lots of hands on activities. There is also a small petting zoo of well-adored animals.

But what makes this overnight camp experience one my son will remembers for his entire life is the Laughter, Games, Campfires, Food, Sports, Fun, Drama, Singing and friends.

This camp is a general camp and not for jocks or brain-e-aks. At Swift Kids get to be kids and experience all sorts of different activities with a diverse set of campers and counselors. I was also happy to learn that SNC was a Coed Summer Camp, I think this more like the real world. So much more is learned than at a specialized camp.

My son has learned so much from this camp in the four years he has been attending. We have noticed a HUGE difference in his attitude, manners and abilities. He is more mature, pleasant and competent. We would pay any price for the experiences and social education he has gained from SNC.

As a joke i used to say that you can find math, reading, or science tutors but no tutors for social skills. Well we were wrong! Summer Camp and specifically Swift Nature Camp is exactly what my son needed at exactly the right time in his life.

Should you be thinking about overnight summer camp for your kid, consider Swift. I think it is so successful because it is a non-competitive, confidence-building camp where kids get to be kids. I know it is the best thing we ever did for our son.

Thanks Jeff, Lonnie and all the fabulous counselors, cooks, nurses, etc. We hope our son will join SNC as a counselor when he is older! At least that is his plan.
